Bill was born and raised in the heartland of America.   He attended school in Indiana, College in Ohio, and is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy.   Currently, he is a retired successful businessman and ordained minister, a loving father of six and grandfather of nine, residing in Clovis, California.

Bill’s extensive travels throughout America and the world have given him a deep appreciation and love of the outdoors.    That love can easily be seen in his creations.  It is just amazing to watch Bill bring a canvas to life with his exhilarating use of explosive color, along with profound warmth, and realism.

Bill is one of the finest and most exciting landscape artists and teachers on the art scene today.   Early in his career he studied with such notables as Bill Blackman (Monterey Seascapes), Buck Paulsen & Gary Jenkins (Florals & Landscapes), and internationally known Bella Bodo (old Europe technique).   Bill personally knew and studied with William Alexander of television fame.  Mr. Alexander enthusiastically endorsed Bill’s work and certified him to teach his exciting wet-on-wet style of oil painting.

Although he is multi-talented in several art media’s, he most enjoys introducing oil painting to new-comers courageous enough to try!   For years, Bill has successfully taught classes to beginning students, as well as more experienced artists.

You will find his paintings in public, corporate and the private collections of successful and wealthy business professionals.  These would include the Ford Foundation, the Nelsen Association of Idaho, and Kaiser Hospitals.    He is a past member of  the Alameda, San Leandro, and Hayward Art Associations.  His award-winning paintings have been featured at many fine art shows, art fairs, galleries and studios.    His work is currently being displayed in various galleries in California.
